When Obama Wins… Will Twitter Implode?

Last week a fun meme went through the twitterverse… “When Obama wins…”

Well today as news broke that former presidential candidate and former senator John Edwards would endorse Barack Obama — after months of speculation as to whether he would endorse at all — Twitter crashed. Related? Most likely. While Twitter has been on the fritz lately, the Obama/Edwards tweets seem to have sent Twitter’s backend beyond the land of 500 server errors and off the deep end.

Will President Obama save Twitter? Or did attorney general-elect John Edwards just break it?

Kucinich: Short Man Out

dennis kucinich and wife no las vegas msnbcSeems unfair and silly to see NBC and the Nevada Supreme Court shut Dennis Kucinich out of tonight’s debate in Las Vegas, in a last-minute appeal, no less.

Kucinich always has good things to say and is a refreshing voice with (in many cases) a healthy, progressive perspective. But as the trend has been — super-hot wife or not — dude is too short.

Perhaps this is another reason why you need Perot- or Bloomberg-like billions to get the media establishment accept you as a third-party candidate.
