Her funeral is being broadcast live now via MSNBC.com. While the Clinton’s, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Barack Obama, John Kerry and several other diplomats are on hand; one notable absence is that of President Bush.

Even LBJ made it to Martin Luther King, Jr.’s funeral, but apparently in his “stay the course” numb to humanity stance, Bush was unaware (read: his advisors forgot to tell him) of the implications of at least having some sort of presence at the biggest civil rights party of the decade.

  • My guess is that she requested no racist, fascist, money loving assholes there. Let her rest in peace and let her funeral be a remberance on the couragous woman she was, not a politcal battle ground.
