San Jose Mercury News made a funny about how new tech and lifestreaming will make this inauguration different from any before. It is amazing to see how fast things are changing. Let’s hope this is a budding trend for the better.

Check out the column: http://m.mercurynews.com/sanjosemercury/db_12121/contentdetail.htm

“I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear (Facebook status update here) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, (Twitter tweet here) and will to the best of my ability, (CNN blog and live streaming video) preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States (with the help of MySpace, Hulu, Yahoo Messenger, Jaiku and Plurk).

“So help me God.”

And on and on. Very funny LOL09.

I was hoping for some good submissions, but a couple of these just rule — pushing for more over the next 24 hours… the best one’s will be screened at the 2009 Green Inaugural Ball. Entries can be new or old, as long as they’re relevant to the new green economy and the great opportunities ahead. Post anywhere with the tag GIB09 or submit (or record) directly to the Live Earth Video site.

(Live Earth is Executive Producer). Shira Lazar came by to shoot this great promo last night — check it out for more info and ideas on how your video/film can be included in the project — the best submissions will be screened at the Green Ball hosted by Al Gore and attended by dozens of celebs, musicians (to be announced), and leaders of the environmental movement and the new green economy.
