Some Great Videos Already into Live Earth Video

I was hoping for some good submissions, but a couple of these just rule — pushing for more over the next 24 hours… the best one’s will be screened at the 2009 Green Inaugural Ball. Entries can be new or old, as long as they’re relevant to the new green economy and the great opportunities ahead. Post anywhere with the tag GIB09 or submit (or record) directly to the Live Earth Video site.

Barack Obama: A New Chapter on Climate Change?

Let’s hope so. I haven’t been blogging much lately as I’m incredibly busy in my relatively new gig as Interactive Director at Live Earth. Live Earth India is less than three weeks away. Needless to say, it’s great to hear some of the sentiment coming out of the Governors’ Global Climate Summit today in Beverly Hills. As symbolic as it may seem, the key is to keep pumping the message and the desire to aggressively curtail the climate crisis.

Live video from the summit here, archived video here.

The Revolute — A Fuel Cell Concept Car

This could be the greatest usage of the online handle I adopted many years ago — revolute. From Trendhunter:

Will somebody please build one of these neat little cars? How much fun would it be to buzz around the neighborhood or bog in the REVOLUTE? The really cool part? It has a clicker that reconfigures the wheelbase depending on how macho you feel. IM’s can be flashed on the side of the “car” too. Harsha Vardhan made the vehicle out of high tech materials, lexan, carbon fiber, etc. The doors roll out and it also work as a display screen. Inside are swivel seats. Pretty cool. Al Gore build this car!
