Power Crews were diverted by Cheney’s order to restore oil pipeline

The September 11 Hattiesburg (MS) American reported that, believe it or not, an executive order came into local power officials to quit restoring power to local hospitals in order to make sure an oil pipeline remained online in the immediate wake of Hurricane Katrina.
